My furnace blower doesn’t stop running
The blower can be found in the middle of the return duct-work and the furnace. Cool air is pushed by the blower into the heat exchanger and heated prior to entering the plenum and then moved throughout your residence by the supply ducts.
A continuous operating furnace that will not shut off can be an indication of a needed repair. Check to make sure that your thermostat is not set to “continuous fan”.
Turn the temperature lower to see if this might solve the problem.
A gas furnace blower that will not shut off could also show that there’s a problem with a broken limit control switch. (which might need to be reset or replaced).
